Downloads came from some 200 countries, led by the United States, Germany, Japan, Spain and Britain.

Firefox supporters were seeking to set a world record for most software downloads in a 24-hour period. The category is new, and Guinness World Records must certify it, a process that could take a week or longer.

The free software continues to be available, but downloads won't count toward the potential record.

Tuesday's release was delayed more than an hour as visitors checking for the update overloaded Firefox's Web servers. The site was slow or unreachable for about two hours starting about 12:45 p.m. Eastern time, 15 minutes before the scheduled release time, according to AlertSite, an Internet performance monitoring company.

Firefox comes from Mozilla, an open-source community in which thousands of people, mostly volunteers, collectively develop free products. Firefox is the No. 2 Web browser behind Microsoft Corp.'s Internet Explorer. (Msnbc.com is a joint Microsoft - NBC Universal venture.)

Firefox 3 includes enhancements to help users organize their frequently visited Web sites and block access to sites known to distribute viruses and other malicious software.

Users of Yahoo Inc.'s mail service can also use Firefox 3 to send e-mail by clicking a "mailto" link they might come across clicking on a name or a "contact us" link on a Web page. Previously such links could only open a standalone, desktop e-mail program.

Firefox 3 also offers other design and speed improvements.

Pluto’s identity crisis hits the classroom

NEW YORK - Pluto was once a planet. Then, a dwarf planet. And as of last week, a plutoid. The fall from grace has teachers, parents and educational publishers struggling to keep up, while kids remain loyal to their favorite, the ninth planet. Underscore planet.

Last week, the International Astronomical Union (IAU) announced Pluto should now be called a "plutoid," two years after the organization voted to demote Pluto to "dwarf planet" status.

Meanwhile, many kids are nearly certain Pluto is still a planet.

"I think it's a planet. But me and my friends, we talk about it sometimes and we go back and forth," said Natalie Browning, 9, sitting in a park in Manhattan with her family. "Right now, I'm not 100 percent. I'm just 75 percent" sure that Pluto is a planet.

Natalie's mom, Bobbie Browning, said, "You've got kids with textbooks saying that Pluto is part of the solar system and a planet, and teachers have to say it isn't [a planet]."

Science teachers and publishers already worked to update their resources to read "dwarf planet." And now, boom, that category is out of favor among astronomers.

"Students who have just learned about the concept of dwarf planets must now be taught the new concept of plutoid," said Janis Milman, who teaches earth science at Thomas Stone High School in Maryland. "This will lead to confusion in the classroom and resistance to learning the new terms, because the students will question, why learn something that might change again in a year or so?"

A cursory survey at a large chain bookstore here revealed three out of four books published in 2006 or later were updated, with Pluto designated as a dwarf planet and the solar system said to include just eight planets.

Chronicles of Pluto
Discovered in 1930 by Clyde W. Tombaugh at Lowell Observatory in Arizona, Pluto was always considered an oddball of sorts, with its tiny size (smaller than some moons) and eccentric orbit. During its 248-year trek around the sun, Pluto swings from its farthest point from the sun at 49.5 astronomical units (AU) to as close as 29 AU from the sun. One AU is the average distance between the Earth and sun, or about 93 million miles (150 million kilometers).

More than 70 years later, in August 2006, 424 astronomers at an IAU meeting voted to demote Pluto to dwarf planet status. Last week, the IAU Executive Committee reclassified Pluto as a plutoid. The other object in the plutoid club, Eris, is larger and more massive than Pluto.

Astronomers expect to find hundreds of Pluto-sized objects. And so the fate of Pluto will determine how these worlds are classified. For instance, new computer modeling suggests an object up to 70 percent of Earth's mass is lurking beyond Pluto. This "Planet X," if confirmed, would be called a plutoid under the IAU's scheme.

No matter what the scientists say, many kids won't let go.

"It's a planet," said fifth-grader Emily Mitchell, whose mother Laurie agreed, saying, "I grew up learning it was a planet."

"It's the smallest planet," said Liam, a 4-year-old who is "about to be 5." Liam's teacher Rachel Kaplan said, "I was really sad when Pluto was declassified as a planet, because I've studied astrology for a number of years."

Aileen Wilson said her 7-year-old son is interested in Pluto's label. "He's interested in why it was a planet and why it's not a planet anymore."

"I know that it was demoted and it's not a planet. But I don't know what it's called," said Erin Kelly, a pre-school teacher sitting on a park bench with her students in New York.

Japan makes robot girlfriend for lonely menShe is big-busted, petite, very friendly, and she runs on batteries

<img style="WIDTH: 209px; While other kids dreamed of becoming an astronaut or president, he felt destined to be a video game designer.

Conquering space or politics might have been easier. Besides a good idea, game developers have needed a distribution deal to get their work on consoles like the Xbox or PlayStation. And over the years, the industry has been shrinking to a handful of big players that use large teams of in-house programmers.

But Silva is a one-man game maker for the Xbox 360. He's among a growing number of independents working to distribute their games to Internet-connected consoles with the help of game box makers seeking to meet demand for titles beyond the usual shoot-'em-ups or big-budget sequels.

Microsoft, Sony Corp. and Nintendo Co. have all opened up digital distribution channels to their consoles. The financial risk is low, and it helps console makers keep an eye on up-and-coming talent and ideas. Is also boosts the number of exclusive titles for each machine.

"They understand market dynamics, how platforms work. They see how indies can get in there and disrupt things," said Corey Bridges, a veteran of Netscape's early days who co-founded Multiverse Network Inc., a platform for developing virtual online worlds.

The growth of digital distribution parallels consolidation among video game publishers. It takes many years and millions of dollars to develop a hit franchise like "Grand Theft Auto." With so much invested, companies are reluctant to take risks on new games and rely instead on established franchises and sequels.

This year, Silva, a former restaurant dishwasher who lives in Utica, N.Y., became something of a poster child for Microsoft's developer tool, XNA Game Studio. After winning Microsoft's "Dream-Build-Play" contest last year, Silva's game, "Dishwasher: Dead Samurai" will be published on the company's Xbox Live Arcade network later this year. The action game features a dishwasher who sheds a lot of cartoon blood in a dark, zombie-filled underworld.

Creating a successful game, however, is still a huge undertaking. Silva has been working on "Dishwasher" for more than a year.

"A lot of kids that set out to make games try to make a rival 'Halo,' rival 'Warcraft,' something really ambitious, not realizing that those games are made by hundreds of people," he said. "It's not an era where one person can go out and make the next 'Halo."'

Microsoft, in 2006, was the first console maker to offer a version of is professional development tools for people without a serious background in programming.

XNA Game Studio is free, but to publish a game, developers must pay $99 a year (or $49 for four months) to join Microsoft's Creators Club and have it reviewed by their peers. If a game passes muster, it will be made available to Xbox 360s later this year. Microsoft says there is no way to tell how many games have been created using XNA Game Studio, but it's been downloaded about a million times since its launch.

Silva said the software — which still requires some basic programming skills — "takes care of the ugly, cumbersome stuff" developers need to do to make games.

But while Microsoft is helping game designers, in the end it's still geared toward pushing indies through the company's publishing channel.

"They have seen the barbarians at the gate and they are trying to channel them through the right gate," said Bridges.

While Sony does not offer a light version of its development tools, it has made space for indie developers at its Santa Monica, Calif. studio so they can create games for the PS3. The titles are available through the PlayStation Network, the console's online community.

Nintendo, meanwhile opened its popular Wii system to indie developers with WiiWare in May.

"These days a lot of games at retailers are big budget games that can't have simple graphics," said Sam Kennedy, editorial director at gaming Web site 1UP.com. "But gamers are still looking for that. They can't spend $50 or $60 on (such) a game but they'll download it for $5."

Rusty Buchert, a senior producer at Sony's Santa Monica studio, says digital distribution is in some ways winding back the clock in game development by 13 to 15 years. It opens the doors for more risk, more innovation, but without "burning down the company," he said.

Sony, he added, is benefiting from its relationships with indie game creators because it's seeing new approaches to game development and design. Still, there's the image of Sony being "the man," Buchert said.

"But we are showing no no no, we are here to work with you," he said. "They get more freedom compared with (developing) a bigger game. There is not as much money at risk and as such they get a lot more freedom, and this freedom helps makes games better."

Nintendo says WiiWare is to the Wii as indie films are to Hollywood. Shigeru Miyamoto, the legendary game designer behind Nintendo's "Mario" and "Zelda," said in an interview earlier this year that, over the years, video game producers have gotten more conservative.

"What I'd like to see is ... those companies give their young designers the creative freedom to create the new and unique ideas of this generation," he said.

Bridges thinks digital distribution will mean the eventual death of game software publishers, which will no longer be needed.

"It's a lot easier pushing bits than pushing atoms," he said.

© 2008 The Associated Press. The world's top cellphone maker Nokia unveiled two new phone models aimed at corporate clients on Monday, revamping its somewhat aging offering to business customers.

The new sliding model E66, and the E71, with full keyboard, both start shipping in July and will retail for around $538, excluding operator subsidies and local taxes.

Models for corporate clients usually last longer in phone makers' portfolios than the consumer-focused phones, but nine months have already passed since Nokia introduced the E51, its last phone model for corporate clients.

Nokia sells 40 percent of all phones sold globally, but the market for business users who look for fast access to their e-mails on the road is dominated by Research in Motion's Blackberry devices and service.

"The business market is becoming increasingly competitive and highly segmented so these new products are critical new additions to Nokia's E series line up," said Geoff Blaber, an analyst at research firm CCS.

Since Nokia introduced the E51 model, rivals, including RIM and Sony Ericssonhave introduced new models for business users, intensifying competition in the sector.

"We will see a swathe of new products from RIM, Palm and a number of Windows Mobile licensees in the coming quarters so it was essential that Nokia strengthened its portfolio," said CCS's Blaber.

Both new Nokia phones will have 3.2 megapixel cameras and built-in GPS receivers for navigation.

The Nokia E71 is 10 millimeters thick — the thinnest phone with a full QWERTY keyboard in the world, Nokia said.

"Users around the world, in general, have started to use more and more QWERTY devices," Soren Petersen, a director at Nokia's devices unit, told a news conference.

Copyright 2008 Reuters.

Some 35 million computers headed for landfillsStudy: More than 1 billion PCs in use, 180 million to be replaced this year

HELSINKI - The number of personal computers in use around the world has surpassed 1 billion, with strong growth in emerging markets set to double the number of PCs by early 2014, research firm Gartner said on Monday.

Mature markets accounted for 58 percent of the first billion installed PCs, but would only account for about 30 percent of the next billion, Gartner said.

"Rapid penetration in emerging markets is being driven by the explosive expansion of broadband and wireless connectivity, the continuing fall in PC average selling prices, and the general realization that PCs are an indispensable tool for advancement," George Shiffler, research director at Gartner, said.

Gartner expects more than 180 million computers will be replaced this year, with some sold to second owners through various channels, some broken up and recycled, but many simply dumped directly into landfill.

"We estimate ... some 35 million PCs will be dumped into landfill with little or no regard for their toxic content," said Gartner analyst Meike Escherich.

"It will become an even more pressing issue, especially in emerging markets, as the number of retired PCs grows with the continuing expansion of the PC installed base," she said.

Hyundai Brings Three-Dimensional TV to Japan

TOKYO — Badminton matches look so real playing on Hyundai's new 3-D TV that you may reflexively dodge the virtual shuttlecock. A polar bear pawing the glass of his tank may seem to be inside the TV pushing on the screen.

Hyundai is offering — in Japan only — the first product for watching the 3-D programs that cable stations in Japan now broadcast about four times a day.

• Click here for FOXNews.com's Personal Technology Center.

There are a few catches:

The 46-inch liquid-crystal display requires 3-D glasses; it's expensive — $3,960, including two pairs of glasses, or about 25 percent more than a comparable regular LCD TV; and the only programs available so far include just a few minutes of video from the northern island of Hokkaido — shots from the zoo, motorcycle-races and other short scenes.

Seen on regular TVs, 3D programs split the screen vertically so the same image appears in both the left and right halves. Conversely, wearing the 3-D glasses while watching regular programming on the Hyundai 3-D TV produces a slight 3-D effect.

The TV uses stereoscopic technology called TriDef from DDD Group Plc in Santa Monica, Calif., which works by sending the same image separately for the left eye and the right eye.

Ryo Saito of BS 11, the cable channel that runs the 3-D shows, says more content is needed for the technology to catch on, and other manufacturers need to start making 3-D televisions.
"People are showing interest in 3-D programs, but most homes don't have the special TVs," he said.

Samsung already sells 3-D rear projection TVs in the U.S., but there are no 3-D TV broadcasts in the United States. The technology is also available on desktop monitors and for video games.

Hyundai IT is hoping to boost its image by gaining a niche audience in Japan, where the TV market is dominated by Sony Corp. and Sharp Corp. The South Korean electronics maker's 3-D TV went on sale in April, but unit sales numbers weren't available.

There is no plan to sell the TV overseas, said senior manager Kim Pyeng-joong.

One in three IT staff snoops on colleagues

FRANKFURT - One in three information technology professionals abuses administrative passwords to access confidential data such as colleagues' salary details, personal e-mails or board-meeting minutes, according to a survey.

U.S. information security company Cyber-Ark surveyed 300 senior IT professionals, and found that one-third admitted to secretly snooping, while 47 percent said they had accessed information that was not relevant to their role.

"All you need is access to the right passwords or privileged accounts and you're privy to everything that's going on within your company," Mark Fullbrook, Cyber-Ark's UK director, said in a statement released along with the survey results on Thursday.

"For most people, administrative passwords are a seemingly innocuous tool used by the IT department to update or amend systems. But it will allow groups, communities and business to express their identities online.

"Like the United States in the 19th Century, we are in the process of opening up new real estate, new land, and people will go out and claim parts of that land and use it for various reasons they have.

"It's a massive increase in the geography of the real estate of the internet."

Arbitration process
Hundreds of new domain names could be created by the end of the year, rising to thousands in the future. Icann says any string of letters can be registered as a domain, but there will be an independent arbitration process for people with grounds for objection. The openness of the new system could pave the way for a .xxx domain name, after more than half a decade of wrangling between its backers and Icann.

The latest attempt to launch .xxx was rejected by Icann last year on the grounds that approval would put the agency into the position of a content regulator.
When asked about the possibility of a .xxx domain name, Dr Twomey repeated only that the new system would be "open to anyone".

The move could yet be blocked as the independent arbitration panel can reject domains based on "morality or public order" grounds.

Dr Twomey said Icann was still working through how much the application fee to register a domain name will be, but it is expected to be at least several thousand dollars.

'Cost recovery'
"We are doing this on a cost recovery basis. We've already spent $10m on this," he said.
Individuals will be able to register a domain based on their own name, or any other string of letters, as long as they can show a "business plan and technical capacity".

While companies will be able to secure domain names based on their intellectual property easily, some domain names could become subject to contention and a bidding war.

Dr Twomey said: "If there is a dispute, we will try and get the parties together to work it out. But if that fails there will be an auction and the domain will go to the highest bidder."

Google plans new Internet measurement tool

Google is expected to unveil a tool Tuesday that measures Internet use to help advertisers identify the best places to buy ads that will reach its target audience, according to a report Monday on the Wall Street Journal Web site.

The measurement tools, which will be offered to advertisers and their agencies for free, will compete with services offered by established leaders Nielsen and ComScore. While those services base their estimations on selective surveys or customer panels, Google's results would be based on data collected from Web servers, providing a deeper and broader picture of Internet behavior, the newspaper reported. By giving away the new tool, Google could attract more advertising business.

The news follows Google's announcement last week that Google Trends had unveiled a new service that lets users type in specific domains and compare basic traffic information about any .com site using nothing more than organic user searches. Included are daily traffic numbers in users (sent from Google search), where in the world the users are coming from, and related sites that were either searched for or visited in that same session.

After news of the planned service hit the Web, ComScore shares fell $1.69, or 6.1 percent, to $26 after-hours trading. Nielsen is a privately owned company.

Heaventools PE Explorer v1.99 R3

PE Explorer makes it easy to view, analyze and edit win32 executable files.
It offers a thorough look at PE file structure and all of the resources in the
file, and tells you just about every little detail you could possibly want to
know about a PE file (EXE, DLL, ActiveX, and other executable formats) .

PE Explorer comes with a Visual Resource Editor, PE Header Viewer, UPX Unpacker, Exported and Imported API Function Viewer and Syntax Lookup, Dependency Scanner, and a powerful win32 Disassembler.

Once inside, file structure can be analyzed and optimized, problems diagnosed,
changes made and resources repaired. "ls -a" will show all hidden files such as .htaccess files. "ls -l" will show detailed information about each file and directory, including permissions, owners, size, and when the file was last modified.
EXAMPLE: Type "ls -al" at a telnet command prompt and it will return your file names including hidden files, and a forward slash will be inserted in front of subdirectories.

COMMAND: mkdir
USAGE: The mkdir command makes a new directory. Type the command "mkdir directory" at a telnet command prompt and replace directory with the name of the directory you want to create.
EXAMPLE: Type "mkdir temp" at a telnet command prompt to create a new directory called temp.

COMMAND: rmdir
USAGE: The rmdir command deletes (removes) a directory. Simply type "rmdir directory" at a telnet command prompt and replace directory with the name of the directory you want to delete.
EXAMPLE: Type "rmdir temp" at a telnet command prompt to remove a directory called temp.

COMMAND: cp
USAGE: The cp command copies a file to a new location or filename. Simply type "cp filename copyname" at a telnet command prompt and replace filename with the name of the file you want to copy, and copyname with the name of the new copy. You can also add a directory structure if you want to copy the file to a completely new location. Simply type "cp filename directory/copyname" and replace directory with the name of the directory in which you want the new copy placed.
EXAMPLE: Type "cp home.htm index.html" at a telnet command prompt to copy a file called home.htm to a file called index.html

COMMAND: mv
USAGE: The mv command renames a file or moves it to a new location. Type "mv oldfile newfile" at a telnet command prompt and replace oldfile with the name of the file you want to rename or move, and newfile with the new name of the new file. You can also add a directory structure if you want to move the file to a completely new location. Simply type "mv oldfile directory/newfile" and replace directory with the name of the directory in which you want the file moved.
EXAMPLE: Type "mv test.conf test.old.conf" at a telnet command prompt to move a file called test.conf to a file called test.old.conf

COMMAND: rm
USAGE: The rm command deletes (removes) a file. Type "rm filename" at a telnet command prompt and replace filename with the name of the file you want to delete.
EXAMPLE: Type "rm test.html" at a telnet command prompt to remove a file called test.html.

COMMAND: grep
USAGE: The grep command finds lines in files that match specified text patterns. Type "grep "text" filenames" at a telnet command prompt and replace "text" with the word or phrase you want to search for, and replace filenames with the files you want to search in. To search all files in the current directory, simply replace filenames with "*" .
EXAMPLE: Type "grep "for sale" *" at a telnet command prompt to find any files in the current directory that contain the text "for sale" in them.

COMMAND: passwd
USAGE: The passwd command changes your Unix password. This affects your Unix e-mail account, and your FTP and Telnet access. If you have web-mail, this will not affect your web-mail passwords. If you have a FrontPage account, this will not affect your FrontPage authoring. To change your password, simply Telnet into your account, and type: passwd.
EXAMPLE [usr80@unix18 usr80]$ passwd Changing password for usr80 (current) UNIX password: New UNIX password: Retype new UNIX password: passwd: all authentication tokens updated successfully [usr80@unix18 usr80]$ _ Note: Your password is not echoed on the screen at all, not even with asterisks (*).

COMMAND: chmod
USAGE: The chmod command sets the permissions of a file or directory. In Unix files and directories have three sets of permissions: owner, group, and other (everybody else). You are the owner. Of course you want to be able to read your own files, make changes, and run scripts. The read, write, and execute permissions control this. The group and other permissions are next. Normally, you don't want anyone else to make changes to your Web site! By default, this is set to read-only. People can go into your directories, but cannot change anything, or upload files there. The most frequent reason to use this command is to make cgi scripts executable. Do this by typing chmod 750 filename at the command line. The 7 means read, write, and execute for the owner (you), while the 5 means read and execute, but not write, for the group. Others (other Web site owners on the server) have no access to your files.

Problems with Virtual Memory

Problems with Virtual Memory

It may sometimes happen that the system give ‘out of memory’ messages on trying
to load a program, or give a message about Virtual memory space being low.
Possible causes of this are:

The setting for maximum size of the page file is too low, or there is
not enough disk space free to expand it to that size.

The page file has become corrupt, possibly at a bad shut-down. In the
Virtual memory settings, set to have no page file, exit, shut down the
machine and reboot. Delete PAGEFILE.SYS (on each drive if more than just
C:), set the page file up again and reboot to bring it into use.

The page file has been put on a different drive without leaving a
minimal amount on C:.

There is trouble with third party software. In particular, if the
message happens at shutdown, suspect a problem with Symantec's Norton Live
update, for which there is a fix posted HERE.

If it happens at boot and the machine has an Intel chipset, the message may
be caused by an early version (before version 2.1) of Intel's ‘Application
Accelerator’. Uninstall this and then get an up-to-date version from Intel's
site.

Possibly there is trouble with the drivers for IDE hard disks; in Device
Manager, remove the IDE ATA/ATAPI controllers (main controller) and reboot
for Plug and Play to start over.

With an NTFS file system, the permissions for the root directory of the
drive where the page file is must give ‘Full Control’ to SYSTEM. If not,
there is likely to be a message at boot that the system is ‘unable to create
a page file’.

disable the User Account Control (UAC) feature on Windows Vista

Although UAC clearly improves the security on Windows Vista, under some scenarios you might want to disable it, for example when giving demos in front of an audience (demos that are not security related, for example). Some home users might be tempted to disable UAC because of the additional mouse clicking it brings into their system, however I urge them not to immediately do so, and try to get used to it instead.
Anyway, if required, you can disable UAC by using one of the following methods:

Method #1 - Using MSCONFIG

Launch MSCONFIG by from the Run menu.

Click on the Tools tab. Scroll down till you find "Disable UAP" (this should probably change to UAC in next Vista beta builds and in the RTM version).

Click on that line. Press the Launch button.

A CMD window will open. When the command is done, you can close the window.

Close MSCONFIG. You need to reboot the computer for changes to apply.

Note that you can re-enable UAC by selecting the "Enable UAP" line and then clicking on the Launch button.

Method #2 - Using Regedit

Open Registry Editor.

In Registry Editor, navigate to the following registry key:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\System

Locate the following value (DWORD):
EnableLUA and give it a value of 0.

Note: As always, before making changes to your registry you should always make sure you have a valid backup. In cases where you're supposed to delete or modify keys or values from the registry it is possible to first export that key or value(s) to a .REG file before performing the changes.

Close Registry Editor. You need to reboot the computer for changes to apply.
In order to re-enable UAC just change the above value to 1.

Method #3 - Using Group Policy

This can be done via Local Group Policy or via Active Directory-based GPO, which is much more suited for large networks where one would like to disable UAC for many computers at once.
If using Local Group Policy you'll need to open the Group Policy Editor (Start > Run > gpedit.msc) from your Vista computer.
If using in AD-based GPO, open Group Policy Management Console (Start > Run > gpmc.msc) from a Vista computer that is a member of the domain. In the GPMC window, browse to the required GPO that is linked to the OU or domain where the Vista computers are located, then edit it.
In the Group Policy Editor window, browse to Computer Configuration > Windows Settings > Security Settings > Local Policies > Security Options.
In the right pane scroll to find the User Access Control policies (they're down at the bottom of the window). You need to configure the following policies:
You'll need to reboot your computers.

Method #4 - Using Control Panel
Open Control Panel.
Under User Account and Family settings click on the "Add or remove user account".
Click on one of the user accounts, for example you can use the Guest account.
Under the user account click on the "Go to the main User Account page" link.
Under "Make changes to your user account" click on the "Change security settings" link.
In the "Turn on User Account Control (UAC) to make your computer more secure" click to unselect the "Use User Account Control (UAC) to help protect your computer". Click on the Ok button.
You will be prompted to reboot your computer. Do so when ready.
In order to re-enable UAC just select the above checkbox and reboot

LOCK-M.1.57D

A software that tracks thief when your handset is lost

The application sits in the operating system of the mobile handset and can lock the handset with a simple SMS if the handset is lost or stolen. If the SIM card is changed, it will lock the phone and send a message (secretly without the intruder coming to know ) to the pre-defined number with all necessary details of the phone. The handset can be unlocked only by entering the pin code either on the mobile handset or through SMS.

Features
If the handset is lost or stolen when in the operating mode, it can be locked by sending a text message to the Mobile handset. If the SIM card is changed without the software being disabled, the handset will automatically get locked. 100% SECURED as for every command to be changed / modified, a Pincode is required to carry out any operations. The handset will automatically send a text message of the serial number of the new SIM card which has been inserted to your predefined “other” number. The SIM number can identify the illegal user. The screen of the handset will display a message announcing the mobile handset has been locked and the user should call the number displayed to enable return the handset to its owner. The handset can also be locked remotely by sending an SMS with Pincode to the lost or stolen Mobile handset from any other mobile handset and a confirmation message will be received after action is taken by the mobile handset. All you have to do is to simply change your search engine to "goo Green Label" for your regular web search. use now

Connect Your Nokia 6600 Using Pc's Internet Connection

Here is another tutorial for u, OFCOURSE IT WAS POSTED FROM IN SOME OTHER SITE... BUT THIS IS CORRECTED ONE... WORKS 100%..
u can use free internet on your 6600 with bluetooth.

With this tutorial, you will learn how to make your Symbian Series 60 (WAP 2.0) phone use your pc's internet connection via bluetooth. The advantages of this are that when your phone is within bluetooth range of your computer, you will have FREE and UNLIMITED mobile internet!!

REQUIREMENTS

1. a Symbian Series 60 phone with WAP 2.0
2) an Internet Router (LAN)
3) Patience!
4) Follow this tutorial in its order GIVEN because some parts can only be done before others and vice versa.

What to do on your phone

1. Download the latest Nokia PC Suite for your phone. For the 6600, it has its own PC Suite which you can find on Nokia.com.

2. In your PC Suite, make a new profile/access point/WAP Connection profile (called Access Point in your phone). In the new profile here are the settings that you should change. The rest don't touch.
Set the name to "Bt" (no quotation marks). The capitilization of the B is necessary.

3. The Data Bearer should be GSM Data/HSCSD

4. The Dial-up number must be something, but it can be anything except nothing (make sure you put something in the field)

5. The User name must be a user name on your computer when you log in.

6. The password is the password of your username that you entered for the username. If the username has no password, MAKE AND ACTIVATE ONE (it's mandatory for this) via Control Panel --> User Accounts.

7. Authentication: Normal

8. Use PPP Compression: YES

9. Use Login Script: YES

10. Login Script. This is why you are using PC Suite and not just entering this into your phone directly, the script is complicated. Copy this DIRECTLY and make sure it's IDENTICAL to this script in your profile:

Code:
-------------------------------------------------
CHARMAP [windows-1252]
LOOP 10
{
SEND "CLIENT"+<0x0d>
WAIT 3
{
"SERVER" OK
}
}
EXIT KErrNoAnswer$

OK:
EXIT
--------------------------------------------------------

11. Save this new Remote Connection (Access point) to your phone via PC Suite.

12. Download gnubox.sis from here

13. Install gnubox into your phone.

You are ALMOST done with your phone settings. The last settings will have to be done AFTER the rest of these instructions.

What to do on your PC
1. Make sure you deactivate the Bluetooth COM Port that mRouter is using to connect to your phone. OR, just make sure that you stop Connection Manager from using your phone through bluetooth period- just uncheck bluetooth as a connection option there.

2. Go to Control Panel --> Phone and Modem Options --> Modems --> New. On the first page of the modem installation, CHECK "I will select from a list".

3. Choose "Communications cable between 2 Computers" from the "(Standard Modem Types)" list.

4. Select the COM Port to be the COM Port that your phone connects to via Bluetooth Serial Port.

5. Once you're done and brought back to your modems list, highlight the new modem, click "Properties", and make sure your modem is at the highest speed: 115200 bytes/second.

6. Now, go to Control Panel --> Network Connections. Select "Create a New Connection" from the left margin (it'll start up a wizard).

7. Choose "Set up an Advanced Connection", then "Next".

8. Choose "Accept incoming connections", then "Next".

9. Check the “Communications cable between two computers” modem that you creating, then "Next".

10. Select "Do not allow virtual private connections", then "Next".

11. Check the username that you select in your phone setup step 5, then click "Next".

12. Make sure all options are checked in the list, then highlight "Internet Protocall TCP/IP" and
then click "Properties". Click "Specify TCP/IP Addresses" and input this range:
From: 10.0.2.2 To: 10.0.2.254. Now click OK, then Next, and then Finish the wizard. You will return to Network Connections.

13. If you have a connection called "Bluetooth Network" in Network Connections, right-click on it and click "Disable". It should be greyed out now.

14. Run cmd.exe which is found in Start Menu --> Programs/All Programs --> Accessories --> Command Prompt.

15. Enter these commands into cmd.exe after reading

PHP Code:
[--------------------------------------------------------]
netsh routing ip nat install
netsh routing ip nat add interface "LOCAL AREA CONNECTION" full
netsh routing ip nat add interface Internal private
[------------------------------------------------------]
Code:
[------------------------------------------------------]
netsh routing ip nat install
netsh routing ip nat add interface "LOCAL AREA CONNECTION" full
netsh routing ip nat add interface Internal private
[------------------------------------------------------]

AFTER 2ND COMMAND IF U GET NAT MUST B INSTALLED FIRST... THEN RESTART UR COMP.
I'VE USED NAME AS "LOCAL AREA CONNECTION ' CHECK THIS IN UR SYSTEM TOO... TO CHECK... CONTROL PANEL > NETWORK CONNECTION > VIEW NETWORK > THE ONE WIT BLUETOOTH ADAPTER... ITS DONE...

-Wait for cmd.exe to load that command and then let you enter a new command. Do the same for the all of the commands.

-Try entering every LAN connection name IN the quotation marks and including them in the command in Network Connections until cmd.exe actually executes the command. The name that I found out that I had to input was my network bridge name which is basically its title.

-Internal should be spelled in the language that your computer uses!!!!

16) Close cmd.exe and YOU ARE DONE CONFIGURING YOUR COMPUTER!!! CONGRATS.

BACK to your phone settings (you must only do this after configuring steps 1-13 in phone settings and all of the steps in the computer settings!!!)

14. Run gnubox.

15. In gnubox, go to Options --> 2box direct --> Bluetooth. Then, select your computer once Bluetooth searches and finds it.

16. Make sure your computer is on and working, you followed all of the steps shown IN THE ORDER THEY WERE GIVEN IN. Go into Web/Services --> Options --> Settings --> Default Access Point. Select your new access point/profile thingy which is "Bt".

17. YOU ARE DONE!!!!!!!!!! Simply go onto the internet on your phone now, and once you connect, your computer will make a Connection sound (it's kinda mystical-ish). You MAY get an error stating that your script is invalid, but then your phone will continue to try to connect and you will.

Happy.Birthday.v1.02.S60.SymbianOS

Download

Do you forget birthdays? The first analysis will be done by an instrument called the thermal and evolved gas analyzer, or TEGA, which heats and vaporizes the soil and then identifies the vapors.

“Five years ago when we started this mission, I was somewhat worried that we didn’t have wheels,” Peter H. Smith, the NASA mission’s principal investigator, said at a news conference on Monday at the University of Arizona, which is handling the spacecraft’s science operations.

But now, Dr. Smith said, “we’re in a really great place for doing the science we plan to do.”

Mission scientists said they had overcome a short circuit in the TEGA instrument, the only significant glitch so far. The short circuit occurred in a high-voltage filament that adds an electrical charge to the vapor molecules. Switching to a backup filament solved the problem.

The primary mission of the Phoenix is to dig into an ice layer believed to exist a few inches below the surface. Temperatures at the site are frigid, between minus-112 and minus-22 degrees Fahrenheit. But, in the past, the Martian climate might have been warm enough at times for the ice to melt and transform the region into a habitable environment.

Already, photographs show several bright, smooth patches beneath the Phoenix, where the lander’s thrusters might have blown off the surface soil. The patches look “for all the world like ice,” Dr. Smith said.

The scientists said they named the icelike patches Holy Cow, because that is what they said when they saw them.

On Saturday, the lander tested its robotic arm and, pressing the scoop against the soil, produced a footlike impression that the scientists named Yeti. On Sunday, it scooped up some soil and dumped it out.

Photographs of the test scoop showed white specks in the soil, which could be salt or ice.

Experts Revive Debate Over Cellphones and Cancer

Last week, three prominent neurosurgeons told the CNN interviewer Larry King that they did not hold cellphones next to their ears. “I think the safe practice,” said Dr. Keith Black, a surgeon at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles, “is to use an earpiece so you keep the microwave antenna away from your brain.”

Dr. Vini Khurana, an associate professor of neurosurgery at the Australian National University who is an outspoken critic of cellphones, said: “I use it on the speaker-phone mode. The last report by the group, the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate
Change, in 2001, had found that humanity had "likely" played a role.

The addition of that single word "very" did more than reflect mounting scientific evidence that the release of carbon dioxide and other heat-trapping gases from smokestacks, tailpipes and burning forests has played a central role in raising the average surface temperature of the earth by more than 1 degree Fahrenheit since 1900. It also added new momentum to a debate that now seems centered less over whether humans are warming the planet, but instead over what
to do about it. In recent months, business groups have banded together to make unprecedented calls for federal regulation of greenhouse gases. The subject had a red-carpet moment when former Vice President Al Gore's documentary, "An Inconvenient Truth," was awarded an Oscar; and the Supreme Court made its first global warming-related decision, ruling 5 to 4 that the Environmental Protection Agency had not justified its position that it was not authorized to regulate carbon dioxide.

The greenhouse effect has been part of the earth's workings since its earliest days. Gases like carbon dioxide and methane allow sunlight to reach the earth, but prevent some of the resulting heat from radiating back out into space. Without the greenhouse effect, the planet would never have warmed enough to allow life to form. But as ever larger amounts of carbon dioxide have been released along with the development of industrial economies, the atmosphere has grown warmer at an accelerating rate: Since 1970, temperatures have gone up at nearly three times the average for the 20th century.

The latest report from the climate panel predicted that the global climate is likely to rise between 3.5 and 8 degrees Fahrenheit if the carbon dioxide concentration in the atmosphere reaches twice the level of 1750. By 2100, sea levels are likely to rise between 7 to 23 inches, it
said, and the changes now underway will continue for centuries to come.

Tutorial Dreamweaver

Dreamweaver operates based upon the concept of a web site. When you first open the program, Dreamweaver makes you define a site. This helps you keep all files organized. With a simple web site, you will just need to keep a few files within a file folder. However, it is best to plan this out before you start, since folder maintenance will help greatly as your site grows and you start linking to other web pages and adding graphics. click here

Sol injection pada X ice system V1

Untuk mencari targetnya, silahkan menggunakan keyword yang tepat ...
ex : inurl:/devami.asp?id= geri

Korban yang saya dapatkan adalah :
